Dress Code?
Travel days
Dress comfortably and bring a light jersey or jacket as the flights are airconditioned.
Conference Days
Dress as you would for Fridays at work – smart casual. Jeans and a t-shirt with some sneakers is perfect.
Activities
Comfortable sportswear and swimming kit are recommended.
Themed Nights:
- Night 1: Just as you are.
- Night 2: Resort Chic (Comfy-casual)
- Night 3: Pop of Colour (Semi-formal)
- Night 4: All White and Neutrals (Smart-casual)
What weather should I expect?
In April, Mauritius experiences average daily temperatures of between 22°C and 28°C. The weather is usually warm and humid during the day, making it ideal for beach activities and water sports. The evenings are slightly cooler, with temperatures dropping to around 20°C.
Will conference be over all three days?
No, we have structured the conference over two days, with group activities to enjoy the destination on the final day.
Is there any time to enjoy the resort?
Yes! We have a fun-filled itinerary that includes use of the awesome hotel facilities, where we can enjoy our time together.
How are they catering halaal meals?
The Hotel is all halaal friendly, and we have let them know we have halaal guests.
Please make the waiter/chef aware of your requirements. Please see the below detailed information:
- All meat (lamb, beef, & chicken) is slaughtered in Mauritius and is done accordingly to Islamic rituals.
- All imported beef and lamb are also certified halaal.
- All the ingredients used for the preparation of meals for our Muslim guests are halaal and prepared accordingly.
- We do not have a specific Muslim kitchen or Muslim corner at the hotel.
- The hotel takes all necessary measures and precautions to prepare meals according to specific requirements.
